The river here continues from the top flash length, down stream towards Bottom Flash, it is lined with reeds and has snaggy areas which tend to move after a flood..

Roach, Chub, Bream, Eels, Pike, Perch and Carp are present and the occasional Barbel have also been caught. The carp are known to move between bottom Flash and Top Flash, as the sometimes the came fish get caught in the river and Top flash.

The remains of middle flash which silted up years ago are on the opposite bank through the trees at the top of the length. This length contains a lot of overhanging trees and submerged timbers.

Access times are as for Top Flash and the river..... not before 6.30am! Day tickets are NOT available on this length; strictly members only. Access is from Top Flash car park, walk through the farmyard and turn LEFT at Weaver Hall, through the yard and then take 1st access gate on the right hand side to Kitchen meadow and then on to Millfields. Please close all gates !

This length of river is very much like the Dane, and offers good fishing with good chub, rare barbel, roach, bream to 8lb, dace, big perch and pike to double figures. Lots of features and seldom fished, when the river is in high flood it becomes part of the lake, therefore often carp can be found near the stream waiting to enter the flash. A typical session by the club secretary
resulted in a mixed bag to 30lb with dace, chub and roach plus quality perch.
Access is as that for the Flash, going left through the wood just before the stream crossing or over and round the back of the flash. Times are as for the flash, not past the sign in the access road before 6.30am and finish by 10pm at the car park.
Parking by the lake in dry weather only.
PAY ATTENTION TO THE PARKING RULES ON THE NOTICE BOARDS.
