Wyvern pool FREE Angling Development session

These sessions are intended for newcomers to angling, of any age or gender.  The focus will be upon how to set up float fishing tackle in order to fish safely and effectively on venues such as small still waters or canals.

You will learn how to choose appropriate tackle and set it up in a way that is suitable for the species you wish to catch.  We will also take a look at some of the many baits that can be used to tempt different species and - most importantly of all - how to unhook fish and return them safely to the water.

You will need basic tackle, such as a rod and reel or a whip (short fishing pole used without a reel).  You will need something to sit on and sensible footwear and clothing in case of inclement weather.
