New Pool, Whitegate, Pike Fishing FREE Angling Development session

These sessions are intended for newcomers to angling, of any age or gender.  The focus will be upon how to set up Pike fishing tackle in order to fish safely and effectively on still waters, rivers or canals.

You will learn how to choose appropriate tackle and set it up in a way that is safe for both you and the pike and - most importantly of all - how to unhook pike and return them safely to the water.

You may bring suitable tackle if you have it (eg. carp, pike, or lure rod plus reel loaded with 15 lb. mainline and terminal tackle or lures).  You will need something to sit on and sensible footwear and clothing in case of inclement weather.
