River Severn Pimley Manor is association with Shrewsbury Angling Club

WDAA are pleased to offer access to the Shrewsbury Anglers Club controlled length of the River Severn at Pimley Manor. This is a
quality stretch of the river regularly producing Barbel to 13lb plus, together with large chub, pike and perch. Night fishing is allowed
at Pimley Manor, no sleeping. Before visiting the venue please read the SAC rules.
WDAA WILL DEAL SEVERELY WITH MEMBERS NOT BOOKING ON OR NOT OBSERVING THE RULES BELOW.... SAC RULES

Directions; follow the satnav,along the A49 to Battlefield roundabout, second exit for Telford A5,then at the next roundabout take the third exit B5062 onto Sundorne road, across the next small roundabout then the entrance to Pimley Manor is twenty yards ahead on the left, enter the single track lane to Pimley Manor. Do not park in the lane.Do not enter the Manor, take the right turn and enter the yard, park in the yard in accordance with the signage. Then walk out of the yard back onto the public footpath that follows the course of the old canal until you reach the gap in the hedge which is 
signposted, then go through the gap and down to the river. 

 

The river can rise and fall quickly. Bear this in mind when choosing a swim.

River Severn Preston Boats in Association with Shrewsbury Angling Club

AVAILABLE FROM 16th JUNE 2018

follow the satnav into Preston street, at the bottom bend take the single track dirt road
on the right and stay right, there is a small parking area at the top of the field signposted,
park considerately and don't block the farm access, don't drive down the field.

River Severn Shelton in conjunction with Shrewsbury Angling Club
SY3 8QQ

AVAILABLE FROM JUNE 2018 

Directions; follow the satnav, into Shrewsbury heading for the Mount A458,
then there is a small parking area on the right side as you enter Shelton lane.
Follow the public footpath down the steps to the river, the length
starts where the trees end to the right. If the parking area is full try to find a grass
verge nearby and do not obstruct traffic or residents
